Registration is now open for Vision UK 2017: Shaping Futures on Thursday 15 June 2017 at the QEII Centre, London.
'Shaping Futures' will feature a series of talks, case studies and panel discussions that will inspire action, collaboration and creative thinking to deal with the changing social, economic and political environment the eye health and sight loss sectors operate in now and in the future.
Delegates will hear about how other collaborative initiatives are leading the way in changing public attitudes and championing self-advocacy, as well as how the eye health and sight loss sectors are successfully working together and bringing about change that creates a future inclusive for all.
Stream 1: Public health, individual responsibility and collective action
Stream 2: Working together towards integrated care and support services
Stream 3: Inclusion – Being heard and changing attitudes
This year the annual poster competition will be replaced by the opportunity to present and showcase your work in a conference stream. Each available slot will consist of a 5 minute presentation followed by 5 minutes to take questions from delegates.
Applications to present at the conference must be submitted by 5 pm on Friday 31 March 2017 and clearly show how the work successfully illustrates one of the three conference streams:
Public health, individual responsibility and collective action
Working together towards integrated care and support services
Inclusion - being heard and changing attitudes!
More information about the entry requirements and the submissions form is available here.
