How can you be sure you are making a difference?
Impact measurement is evidencing the difference an activity is making, either for individuals or organisations. Most charities exist to bring about some form of change and therefore impact is the bottom line of whether they are successful.
In 2014/15 RNIB is aiming to continue to raise the profile of impact across the organisation, and to ensure impact evidence is part of our planning, communications and evaluation.
This document gives an overview of impact measuring and why it is valuable. It covers the concept of an impact map, as well as other tools and methods for measuring impact that you can apply to your own work.
