RNIB Legal Rights Service

We can provide legal rights information, advice and where possible formal representation to blind and partially sighted people who are looking to challenge a decision or a discrimination. This can include taking cases to court or tribunal. The areas of law that we cover are the Equality Act, community care and welfare benefits law relating to sight loss.

We can also assist the families and carers of people with sight loss by giving them information on the above issues. This is to help support the individual with sight loss.
