South Lincolnshire Blind Society (Grantham)

The South Lincolnshire Blind Society was formed in March 2006 by the merger of the Boston and South Holland Blind Society and Kesteven Blind Society.

Activities:
- agent of British Wireless for the Blind Fund
- aids and equipment to purchase, rent or borrow
- information and advice on all subjects relevant to visual problems
- social clubs, including trips and outings; minibus transport
- quarterly newsletter in braille, tape, print as required
- home visiting in some areas
- leaflets on eye conditions and other relevant literature
- contact with Lincolnshire Sensory Services
- visual impairment awareness training.

Social'eyes' social groups:
Grantham: every Thursday from 10am -12pm
Boston: every 2nd and 4th Wednesday 10am-12pm
Spalding: every 1st and 3rd Monday
Holbeach: every 2nd and 4th Friday
