We want everyone to join us for this challenge. If you are blind or partially sighted and require a guide, sign up with a friend or family member, or we can help find one. If you are sighted, we want you to use this experience to support fellow trekkers. This will be a team effort and we’ll work together to reach that epic summit.
How does your fundraising help?
Every day, 250 people in the UK start losing their sight and their lives will change completely. Too many people still face isolation and depression, unable to achieve their potential in a world that blocks their way.
But we won’t stop until every last psychological and physical barrier has gone for good – from classrooms to workplaces, from local shops to far-flung holidays. Together with your support, we can smash through the barriers that stop people with sight loss thriving.
What to expect?
Day 1: Friday 9 August
Make your way to Fort William and arrive at the accommodation for an evening briefing from our expert trek leaders, plus the chance to meet the rest of your RNIB team mates.
Day 2: Saturday 10 August
Today is the day you scale Ben Nevis! We breakfast early and are transferred to the base to begin our ascent. After scaling the summit, we will be transferred back to our accommodation for a celebration evening meal together.
Day 3: Sunday 11 August
We have a final breakfast together and then you make your way home, with an epic sense of achievement and lots of new friends in your address book.
