"I work a lot with the fundraising department, getting involved with projects like Dots Raise Lots. I have also taken part in fun runs for RNIB and Bardet-Biedl syndrome. I have recently started volunteering for RNIB Connect, which will involve me organising events to raise awareness of the charity. I would like to say that without the support of my friends, family, RNIB and BBS UK, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. They have all helped me with my independence and confidence. I would say to anyone: don’t let your disability stop you from achieving your dreams and goals in life!"
