"I’ve received support with my education, where RNIB worked with my education provider to support me with accessible learning materials. They’ve also assisted with my welfare rights, which has given me more independence with my day to day life. I had the opportunity to volunteer with RNIB to get some work experience. This resulted in me securing a job within the organisation. I am proud to say that after 23 years of working for RNIB, I have had fantastic career development, from a sales assistant to a Technology Team Leader. In my free time, I enjoy listening to RNIB Talking Books and I’ve connected with various Connect groups. I am very proud of RNIB because of what I am now: an independent blind person."
