Julie Swift Volunteer Campaign Coordinator in Sheffield is stepping up her retail campaign in Sheffield. Julie has undertaken a number of mystery shopping trips across the city to test the levels of customer service offered to blind and partially sighted people.
During her mystery shopping trips, Julie found some stores are very cluttered, with a low awareness amongst staff of how to support blind and partially sighted customers.
Julie is now reporting back to the individual companies seeking improved store environments and an improvement on the level of service that is currently provided.
We wish Julie luck in this next step of her campaign!
