Our stories: why I need my information my way

Our stories is part of our #MyInfoMyWay campaign and helps highlight the importance of blind and partially sighted people being able to access health and care information.

Being able to read and understand health and care information is so important for patient safety, and for managing health, wellbeing, independence and privacy.

Worryingly, many blind and partially sighted people continue to receive inaccessible information despite asking for it in their required alternative format like large print, email, audio or braille. Listen to Annette, Michael, Bernie, and Rachael share their experiences.
