Description

RNIB Staff Opportunity Only. Our "Voice of the customer" work gathers important insight that helps RNIB truly understand how we can shape our services and activities to best support our customers. We are looking for focus group facilitators to host discussions with our customers, chatting about the issues that matter most to blind and partially sighted people. Our Voice of the Customer group facilitators help our groups run smoothly. The role requires active listening and the ability to create discussion and draw out people's knowledge and creative thinking. Each quarter we run three focus groups consisting of the same six participants. A broad range of blind and partially sighted people from across the UK takes part. Each group comprises of two sessions, each lasting approximately 2 hours 15mins (15-minute break included) so volunteers are needed for a total of 4 hours and 30 mins every 3 months. Detailed topic guides are provided, and the theme of the discussion changes each quarter.

Additional location information

  • Once every quarter (three months), groups run for two x two-hour sessions plus a fifteen minute break (a total of four hours and thirty minutes). Groups are hosted virtually via Teams.
