Used stamps appeal

It doesn't matter if they've already been used, or if they're first or second class stamps - we can use them all to raise funds.

We raise even more from overseas stamps. We also collect first day covers, presentation packs and albums.

Recycling used stamps

Stamps are sorted by volunteers - they are usually sold by weight, but if we can identify any valuable stamps they can be sold for a higher price. We expect to receive around £10 for one kilogram of British stamps, and up to £15 for a kilogram of overseas stamps.

Our amazing volunteer Terri has raised thousands of pounds for us by stamp collecting, and is on a mission to raise even more:

'My house is like a stamp warehouse - there's no room for my family!'

How to sort out your stamps

Please cut the stamp off the envelope, leaving around one centimeter of envelope or packaging around each stamp. Please then separate your stamps into:

  1. British
  2. Overseas including Jersey, Guernsey, Eire and Isle of Man

The value of a stamp doesn't matter, so one pence stamps can be grouped together with one pound stamps.
