Helping you maximise your income

Living with sight loss can mean that you have all sorts of extra expenses. We have currently received funding to offer benefits advice in certain parts of the country.

Our advisers can help you to claim what benefits and entitlements you might be eligible for.

How we can help

Living with sight loss can involve a lot of extra expense. Our See Me Right service offers benefit and entitlements advice to blind and partially sighted people who live in Edinburgh, East Lothian, Midlothian, Forth Valley and Ayrshire. Contact 0131 652 3144 or email seemeright@rnib.org.uk. If you live outside of these areas, you can call our national helpline for advice on 0303 123 9999.

Our advisers there can help you to claim any benefits and entitlements you might be eligible for, complete claim forms, register as blind or partially sighted and assist and represent you at benefit appeals. They can also advise you on other services for blind and partially sighted people in your area, and on other organisations which can provide assistance.
