If you do, we are looking for someone like you to help people with sight loss access everything from newsletters to a favourite cookery book by digitally recording audio versions in the Welsh Language at our local RNIB transcription centre.

We are looking for a volunteer to provide admin and reception support, taking calls and referrals, and greeting visitors to the office. You will also be integral in providing admin support to our 'Living With Sight Loss' courses.

Would you enjoy supporting a person with sight loss to research their family tree using the resources at The Family History Department in The Mitchell Library? We are looking for volunteers to support people with sight loss who wish to take on their own personal heritage projects.
Are you passionate about the power of technology? Do you believe that technology should be accessible to all? We need you to help people with sight loss set up, troubleshoot and provide guidance on using technology in their home. You will provide support with a wide range of equipment from TVs and mobile phones, to talking book players and e-readers.
Could you coordinate and support volunteers in your area who help people with sight loss with their technology? If you have great organisation and communication skills and have an interest in helping people learn about and use technology, this could be the role for you.
Would you like to help people with sight loss explore the options of getting online? Could you share your knowledge and enthusiasm to help people engage with technology? You will show people how to use a computer, tablet or smart phone to get online, deliver group training and demonstrations and visit people in their home to help them with basic online skills.
