Duration: One half day face to face session or one online session of 2.5 – 3 hours each.

Aim: to provide an overview of the key areas of digital accessibility and provide business reasons why it is important to ensure a high level of digital accessibility.

Accessibility and usability for websites on desktop and mobile

Duration: One day face to face or two online sessions of 2 – 2.5 hours each.

Useful for: Developers, designers and content editors who want to know more about

how disabled people use computers.

Aim: To understand why common usability/accessibility issues occur and their impact on disabled people. This course demonstrates issues from the user point of view, rather than including coding examples.

Accessibility and usability of apps

Duration: Face to face one day (approximately 10 am – 4 pm) or two online sessions of 2 – 2.5 hours each.

Useful for: People who develop and design apps.

Aim: To understand why common usability/accessibility issues occur and their impact on disabled people. This course demonstrates issues from the user point of view, rather than including coding examples. It also includes a practical session showing how to use access technology on a smartphone and gives you an understanding of the difficulties blind and partially sighted people must overcome when using apps.

Duration: One half day face to face session or one online session of 2.5 – 3 hours each.
