World Book Day is all about celebrating the beauty and magic of books and, most importantly, of reading. Organised by UNESCO, it is marked in more than 100 countries around the world.
On the 21st year of World Book Day, 15 million £1 book tokens will be sent to children and young people in the UK and Ireland. With these £1 tokens, they can choose one of the 10 dedicated World Book Day titles to read - that's one for nearly every child under 18 in the country!
We are celebrating this year by making the 10 books available in braille and audio for free! This means that children and young people do not need a £1 token to read them.
