Benefits for carers

Benefits for carers

If you're caring for someone affected by sight loss, there are two key benefits - Carer's Allowance and Carer's Credit - that you may be entitled to claim.

Benefits for children

If you're the parent or guardian of a blind or partially sighted child aged up to 15, then you could be entitled to claim the Disability Living Allowance on their behalf.
