This free eLearning course for jobseekers with sight loss is designed to support you in moving in closer to work.
Our Employment Team have put together their top tips for successful job seeking. The course has been tested by people with sight loss to make sure it is accessible. It is packed full of useful advice including:
- What you need to do before applying for jobs.
- Where to find opportunities.
- How to complete a CV.
- The best way to fill out an application form.
- How to tackle job interviews.
- Behaviour and safety in the workplace.
- Where to get help with job applications.
Extra resources are provided in the form of downloadable factsheets you can keep.
The whole course should take you around fifty minutes in total, and you can dip into the sections that interest you, or complete the course in stages, taking your time. Once you've signed up, the course will be available for a year to revisit when you want to refresh your job search skills.
