Thank you for your interest in the re-take option of our Maths Certificate in Contracted Braille (UEB).
Please note, this re-take option is only available to students who have previously completed the full RNIB Maths Certificate in Contracted Braille (UEB) and wish to re-take the assessments in order to pass or improve their grade.
It is assumed that students still have the relevant course material (lessons, exercises, etc) as these will not be sent out again.
The cost to re-take the assessments is £60.
There are two re-take dates:
1 June 2020 (with a return date of 19 June)
5 October 2020 (with a return date of 23 October).
Students will be sent two optional practice papers, approximately four weeks before the re-take date, which can be sent back to the Braille Training Mailbox for marking and feedback. Telephone and email support is available.
Two assessment papers (one covering the material in Unit One, and one covering the material in Unit Two) will be sent out via email, on the selected date (either 3 June 2019 or 1 October 2019).
These must be returned by the specified date (21 June 2019 or 21 October 2019).
All practice papers/assessments are provided by email (compressed/zipped files). Students are responsible for ensuring that the Perky Duck software, needed to complete practice papers/assessments, is installed correctly with the specified settings and page size.
