Voice of the Customer survey
We're looking for people with sight loss to complete our regular Voice of the Customer survey. Our current topic is all around volunteering.
We want to hear about your experiences of volunteering including any motivations and barriers to volunteering. We are also interested to hear from those who don’t volunteer about what has influenced your decision not to volunteer, and if anything might encourage you to volunteer in future.
This will help us gain a deeper understanding of the experience and perceptions of volunteering. This will help us to promote accessibility of volunteering and will help us put these learnings in place internally and advocate for these externally. Your feedback directs our future work, and it is crucial that we hear your views.
This survey is open to:
- Blind and partially sighted people who volunteer for RNIB or elsewhere, and those who don’t volunteer.
- Sighted people who volunteer for RNIB.
Blind and partially sighted participants who complete the survey will also be invited to take part in other Voice of the Customer surveys where you can share your lived experience of sight loss and help to shape our work on an ongoing basis. You can opt not to do so.

Have your voice heard and help shape the work of RNIB
We’d love to hear from people who are interested in taking part in our regular focus groups where we will be discussing the things that matter to you.
We’re looking for a diverse range of blind and partially sighted people from across the UK to take part in a series of online focus groups. There will be two sessions, each lasting approximately two hours 15 minutes (15 minute break included).
