RNIB publishes Gender Pay Gap report

In response to the Government’s requirement for all companies with over 250 employees to publish their gender pay gap data, RNIB today published its 2023 Gender Pay Gap report . The gender pay figures are calculated on data available on our reporting date, 5 April 2023.

Matt Stringer, RNIB’s Chief Executive commented on the charity’s Gender Pay Gap report: “At RNIB, we’re constantly striving to be a great employer that attracts and retains the best people possible, who can achieve their highest potential with us. Accessibility, Diversity and Inclusion are at the heart of the organisation.

“Our April 2023 mean and median pay gaps have slightly increased compared to April 2022’s figures. Our mean (average) gender pay is 8.15 per cent in 2023, compared to 7.53 per cent in 2022, and our median (middle) gender pay is 7.29 per cent in 2023, compared to 3.6 per cent in 2022.

“We recognise that there’s still more for us to do to reduce our gender pay gap. We’re supporting women to progress their careers in all areas of the charity and reviewing how we recruit new employees. Having a diverse and inclusive workforce is hugely important so we can better represent blind and partially sighted people and so we can achieve our vision where there’re no barriers to people with sight loss.”
