RNIB Research Survey Prize draw T&Cs - 8th April 2024

  1. The promoter of this prize draw is Royal National Institute of Blind People. A registered charity in England and Wales (226227), Scotland (SC039316) and the Isle of Man (1226). Also operating in Northern Ireland. A company incorporated by Royal Charter. Registered in England and Wales (RC000500). Registered office 154a Pentonville Road, N1 9JE (“RNIB”).
  2. RNIB employees, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with the administration of the prize draw are not eligible to enter.
  3. The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
  4. By completing following the bespoke link to the survey you agree to be entered into a free prize draw to win a £100 gift voucher.
  5. There is one prize available to be won.
  6. One entry per person.
  7. All entrants must be 18 years or over at point of entry.
  8. You must live in the United Kingdom.
  9. The prize draw entry closes at midnight on Monday 6th May 2024. Entries received after this date will not be considered.
  10. The prize draw will take place on Monday 20th May 2024. The winner will be notified by email or phone within 7 working days.
  11. The winner will be chosen at random by an independent person. If the winning entrant cannot be contacted so that the prize remains unclaimed for one month following RNIB’s first attempt to notify the prize winner, the prize will be forfeited and RNIB will exercise its right to award the prize to a runner up.
  12. RNIB accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt by RNIB.
  13. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. RNIB reserves the right to replace prizes with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so. We make no representation or warranty in relation to prizes provided and limit any liability, to the fullest extent permitted by law, in relation to any prize, its fitness for purpose, or otherwise.
  14. RNIB reserves the right to cancel, void, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
  15. RNIB reserve the right to refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  16. The prize in non-negotiable and not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
  17. Insofar as is permitted by law, RNIB, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of accepting the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of RNIB, it’s agents or distributors or that of its employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  18. RNIB shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered or arising from:
    1. Any delays or failures in the delivery methods used by RNIB or third-party or
    2. Any event beyond the reasonable control of RNIB
  19. The Laws of England and Wales shall govern the interpretation and/or enforcement of these terms and conditions and RNIB, and all entrants, hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
  20. Any data gathered by this prize draw will be used to support the activities of the direct services of RNIB, registered charity number 226227.
  21. The decision of RNIB regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
  22. Any queries should be directed to RNIB by telephone on 0303 123 9999. RNIB operates a complaints and disputes procedure which is available on our customer charter and by post on request or upon you making a complaint to our Helpline on 0303 123 9999. All complaints and disputes will be handled in accordance with the procedure.
  23. RNIB is committed to respecting your privacy and will only use your personal information for the purposes of administering this prize draw or where we have a legal basis to do so in accordance with the GDPR and our privacy policy.
