Are you confident and organised with the skills to help co-ordinate challenge events? We need a good team player with strong customer care, admin and IT skills. You will be an integral part of a friendly and vibrant team of people ensuring the success of challenge fundraising events. The role will give you invaluable hands-on experience of event management for a major charity.
Are you patient and understanding, with a good telephone manner? You could support us to keep in touch with blind and partially sighted people accessing our services by contacting them over the phone, filling them in on where things are up to, and updating our systems.
Do you enjoy motivating and supporting other people? Could you support visually impaired young people engaged in our transitions project, helping them make the important transitions from school to education to work? This could involve support during group work, one-to-one support or administrative tasks
RNIB GLOW Neon Fun Run is coming to Wigan. Inspired by the colourful full moon parties of Thailand, on the evening of October 10th participants will run or walk the 3km course at Robin Park to raise money for RNIB.
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us steward on the night, the range of jobs includes registration, handing out water and cheering runners on.
Are you interested in Gardening? We are looking for someone to help with a variety of general gardening tasks at RNIB Pears Centre, keeping the gardens tidy, weeding, planting, pruning and maintaining garden fences on the school grounds.
Are you a talented copywriter and editor? Are you passionate about good writing and able to write in a variety of styles? Do you have experience in proof-reading, research and fact-checking? If so, this is the ideal volunteering role for you. By becoming a volunteer with us, you'll join our in-house creative team and make a real difference to the lives of blind and partially sighted people.
This role is a fantastic opportunity to develop your campaigning skills and knowledge, whilst helping to secure a better deal for those living with sight loss. Working with your local regional campaigns officer, you will assist in the delivery of RNIB’s campaigns at a regional level, as well as identifying and pursuing opportunities for regional and local campaigning work.
Do you have good organisational skills, a friendly telephone manner and passion to support us to deliver and develop services for blind and partially sighted people? We would like you to join our Joint Sensory Team to provide admin support.
Are you friendly, outgoing and like helping others? The 10th EBU General Assembly will be hosted by RNIB in October 2015. EBU works towards an accessible and inclusive society with equal opportunities for blind and partially sighted people to fully participate in all aspects of social, economic, and cultural life. We need your assistance to support delegates to make the most of the event.
Are you a confident speaker? Could you talk to a variety of audiences and represent us at local events? Could you be our Ambassador? Your role will be to engage, inform and inspire others and help us to fulfil goal of making every day better for people with sight loss.
