We’re the Royal National Institute of Blind People in Northern Ireland (RNIB NI) and we’re here for everyone affected by sight loss.
If you or someone in your life have experienced sight loss, are blind or partially sighted, we offer a wide range of services, support and information to help.
Working with our supporters and partners, we’re changing wider society to create a world where sight loss isn’t a barrier to living life to the full.
We want to make every day better for everyone affected by sight loss in Northern Ireland – from providing practical and emotional support at the point of diagnosis, advice on employment, and campaigning for change, to advice on useful products and technology.
Visit our Services pages to find out more about how we can help you, your child, or loved one.

We are still operating remotely, with many of our usual services and activities, and more, taking place online or via telephone. These include access to our counselling service.
We understand this is a particularly difficult time for most people. We’re here if you feel you could benefit from speaking to someone about any particular concerns you have during this time, even as a one off Mental Wellbeing Checkin session.
If you would like to speak to one of our advisors, please get in touch via our Helpline on 0303 123 9999 or email [email protected].
