Help us answer more questions that can’t wait

Every minute, another person calls our Helpline with an urgent question. With your support, we can be here to provide information, advice and reassurance whenever it’s needed.

Every month, hundreds of people join eye care waiting lists

The last decade has seen a rapid increase in hospital attendances for eye care, with more than 20,000 people waiting over a year for treatment as of 2023. With demand for eye care at a record high, and rising, it’s vital that our Sight Loss Advice Service has funding to answer the growing number of questions we’re asked every day.

Whilst we cannot make the waiting lists for eye care treatment any shorter, with your support, we can stop that wait being so confusing, scary and isolating for hundreds of thousands of people.

"I waited years for answers about my eye condition. With your help, fewer people will face that long wait alone."
