Join our fantastic team of community fundraising volunteers
Whether you can spare just a few hours or would like to volunteer on a regular basis, by giving your time you will help us to reach more blind and partially sighted people that need our support. If you can spare up to four hours a week you can help us to empty Sooty collection boxes in your area. Our target this year is to raise £750,000 to help blind and partially sighted people and with your support, you can help us get there.
Charity collections at supermarkets, shopping centres and stations are a vital way for RNIB to raise funds. Just one collection could raise £150 and help us reach this year's target of over £100,000.
If you can spare as little as four hours a year you could help us with charity collections at local supermarkets, sporting venues and other locations in your area. You can volunteer for a one-off collection or volunteer regularly.
You could make a difference in your community by raising awareness about the work that RNIB does throughout the UK. If you are a confident public speaker, you could help us reach communities across the UK to raise awareness and engage community groups, local business and schools in fundraising for RNIB.
Applying is very simple.
If you would like the application form in a different format (such as standard print, large print, braille or audio) or you have any questions about volunteering, please do contact us. Email us at [email protected] or call us on 0303 123 9999 (select option 4 from the menu).
We are running a series of information events across the country in January and February where you can meet Community Fundraising Staff and existing volunteers, find out about current opportunities and sign up as a volunteer with our team.
