Parent Pathways is a group for parents and carers who have recently received, or are going through the process of receiving, a diagnosis of vision impairment for their child. Parent Pathways is an introductory level group that explains some of the key terminology, processes and people that you might encounter as you navigate the world of support for a child or young person with vision impairment. It is delivered by Living well Together Coordinators and provides an opportunity for parents and carers to share experiences and ask questions of each other.
After completing the two-week group, you will be offered a one to one follow up call with a specialist advice officer as well as signposting to any organisations for additional support you may need.
