What is the Patient Information Forum (PIF)?

The Patient Information Forum (PIF) is a UK membership organisation for people working in health information, patient information and health literacy.

PIF is an independent, not-for-profit organisation representing over 300 organisations across the NHS, voluntary, academic, freelance and commercial sectors. They provide expert guidance on the production of high quality, clearly communicated, evidence-based health information to support an improved healthcare experience for patients and the public.
