Join #TeamRNIB for the Manchester Half Marathon and help us create a world without barriers for people with sight loss.
This inaugural half marathon sees runners take on generous, closed roads across the towns of Old Trafford, Stretford and Brooklands, with the promise of great support and an abundance of entertainment along the way. The Manchester Half Marathon hosts a very flat course, which is perfect for smashing personal bests, but it is also the ideal route for those new to half marathons and charity runners. There is a lovely two-mile flat finish that brings you to the conclusion of the event at Emirates Old Trafford Lancashire County Cricket Club.
Take on this iconic running challenge and raise vital funds to support blind and partially sighted people when they need it most.

Already have your own place?
If you already have a place as a runner in the 2025 Manchester Half Marathon, you can still run for RNIB and receive all the same support. We just ask you to fundraise as much as you can.
How your fundraising helps
Every day, 250 people in the UK start to lose their sight. Many people won't get any practical or emotional support when they need it most. We want to change that.
It costs just £250 for someone with sight loss to attend an RNIB Living Well with Sight Loss course which help attendees increase independence, boost confidence and connect with others to share experiences.
Your fundraising will help ensure that no one faces sight loss alone.
