During the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been a number of occasions when the Department of Health and Social Care have reached out to the RNIB for support. In every instance in which I have been involved, I have always found the staff at RNIB to be very quick to provide a response and always willing to help the Government make their communications as accessible as possible.
James McCarthy, DHSC
With over 2.2 billion people globally having a visual impairment we engaged RNIB to host a virtual event for us to help our employees understand what it's like to have vision loss, how we can embrace technological change for greater inclusion for blind people and teach us what we can all do to be more accommodating. Disability inclusion is high on the agenda at Accenture and the event was highly educational allowing us to reach an audience of 120+ from across the business.
Samuel Cooke, Accenture
My team and I enjoyed your Sight Awareness training session. Everyone came away with much greater knowledge, and an understanding on how we can implement these changes to improve our customer service practices.

"With approximately 11 million people in the UK living with a disability there is real and pressing need for shopping centres to ensure teams are well-equipped with the skills and knowledge to promote accessibility."
