Michael overcomes sight loss to thrive in the world of work
Michael Jackman, who has had sight loss since birth, has worked for Oxfordshire County Council for 44 years.
His role is within County Print Finishers, which is part of Oxfordshire Employment. Michael found the role back in the 1970s with help from RNIB, who have recently recognised County Print Finishers for their support of people with sight loss, including Michael. They have obtained RNIB’s Visibly Better standard as a result of their work in supporting blind and partially sighted employees.
