Kingston upon Thames Talking Newspaper

Produces a free weekly newsletter on Ram stick for blind and partially sighted residents in the Kingston upon Thames area. The charity also produces quarterly magazines for a local disabled charity and Eye Opener, in association with the Kingston Association for the Blind.

They also include information about special services of a national nature and special arrangements for blind and partially sighted residents from local statutory bodies and charities. On the Ram stick service they keep longer lasting items and some internet podcasts as well, which have proved popular. They loan out players for Ram sticks to those who do not have one if they take the local weekly publication.

Kingston upon Thames Talking Newspaper are also in close contact with Social services and the Kingston association for the Blind, who fund them. Extra Volunteers always welcome!
