Celebrating our volunteers on International Volunteers’ Day

This International Volunteers’ Day, 5 December, we want to celebrate the ongoing contribution and commitment of our volunteers at RNIB.

At RNIB, volunteers shared their time, skills and experience in so many different ways – delivering services, sharing their lived experience, raising funds, campaigning for change and so much more. All of this makes a difference to the lives of blind and partially sighted people.

Our volunteers have shown great flexibility and adaptability. Where possible to do so, some volunteers were able to do their roles remotely from home. While others have been patiently waiting for restrictions to ease to be able to volunteer out in the community again. We appreciate your ongoing support to remain a volunteer even when volunteering was on hold or roles felt very different.
