We’ll hear from Dr Mhairi Thurston and Craig Dunlop from Abertay University about their research into loneliness and isolation amongst blind and partially sighted people. RNIB’s Head of Mental Health Services, Amanda Hawkins will share some tips for how manage feelings of loneliness and yoga teacher Tam, will guide us through some eye yoga. Plus this week, a positive news story.
9 December 2024: Men's Wellbeing Part 2
On this week’s episode we continue our conversation with researcher Dr Susie Bennett about her work trying to understand why men are at higher risk of suicide and what more we can do to support men effectively. We’re also going to hear from Paul at ManHealth, an organisation supporting men across the North East of England, and yoga teacher Tam joins us with an easy exercise for our wellbeing.
