April 8th 2020: coronavirus update

As the coronavirus pandemic causes great uncertainty around this year’s calendar of challenge events we want to assure you we are monitoring the situation very closely and letting Team RNIB participants know when we have updates. These events raise vital funds for RNIB to continue our work and we want to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to everyone on Team RNIB who continues to train and fundraise on our behalf in these uncertain times.

The Mount Kilimanjaro Trek organisers are still hoping to hold the event between 28 August and 6 September 2020.

For more information, please read the latest COVID-19 statement on their website.

Join Team RNIB for the adventure of a lifetime and climb the highest freestanding mountain in the world whilst raising money to support people living with sight loss.

  • 25 September - 04 October 2020

Rising from the plains of Tanzania, Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped summit soars to an impressive 5896m.
